Bus Service Vero Beach: Enjoy The Commute

By Susan Price

When on vacation, one will be tempted to lounge on the white sand all day every day until they are burnt to a crisp then do it all over again. However, after sometime curiosity arises as to what lies beyond the resort gates. What gems are there to be discovered and experienced? A question then arises. Rent a car or check out the bus service Vero Beach? Different people prefer either one of these for different reasons. Here is a case for the shuttle idea though.

If one decides to rent a car. There will be rental fees. The company is not just going to lend their cars others they would not be in business. Then there will be the burden of fuel cost, which falls entirely on the client. Taking public transport only costs a little bit. The fare paid to the company is nothing compared to the alternative. Save some of that money for worthy experiences.

How nice is it to have company on the commute? To meet new people every day and learn all the intricacies of the human condition through those mundane interactions. The people are warm and friendly which would make the conversations during the drive sufficiently interesting. Not to mention, if one is on vacation they could get all kinds of valuable and little known suggestions for places and activities.

If everyone decided to venture out on the road and drive. That would increase the carbon footprint significantly. It is mighty bad for the environment. The air pollution would be just too much. The shuttle will be one vehicle serving 50 people, give or take, which could be driving but are not. This could be considered a contribution to the welfare of the world with respect to global warming.

Often when one lives in a beautiful town, they start to take the expanse of the ocean and surrounding scenery for granted. It becomes the norm. This is especially true if one drives to and from work every day. There are too many things to worry about in addition to concentrating on the road. Public transport takes one off the steering wheel and on a seat with a chance to appreciate the surroundings they are blessed with.

While safety is not always guaranteed, there is no reason one should go for a safer option. The shuttles are better maintained and subjected to more service mechanics than personal cars or even the rental cars in most cases. This makes them less prone to accidents due to technical mishaps. The drivers are also more rigorously trained and vastly experienced.

If it is the first time in town, then one will need to use a map and GPS. Even with the technology, it is still easy to get lost as one can take the wrong turn or exit. The driver of the bus will know every area well and there will be no chance that one will wind up driving into a berry farm.

How often has it been heard hat a bus was delayed due to weather? It is highly unlikely. Even when there is a technical difficulty, the shuttle is replaced with another pretty quickly. The company is still able to keep time despite problems unlike other forms of transportation. This is especially important if one is venturing out of town for the day or two. It will be hard to be stranded if one relies on the public transportation system.
