A good example is when people find the need of horseback riding private lessons.

The definition of horseback riding can simply be put as the art of using a horse to move from one place to the other while riding on its back. In terms of sport it can be defined as the ability to control an animal, which in this case it is a horse, while riding on its back especially during racing. It is liked by sportsmen in racing cause of its fast speed.

The private lessons can be taken by anyone that is, children and adults. But for children who are below six years old they should ride with the company of an adult like their mom or dad or the coach. This is so because they are unable to control the horse by themselves.

There are a lot of benefits that people get through this kind of sport or activity. They are; it helps in coordination and stability; when the rider balance it provides stability and the strength used in the thigh and leg develops coordination. Another benefit is that a relationship starts developing between the horse and the rider; when the rider rides it more often, a strong relationship and trust is developed.

The other important benefit is that it helps a rider gain self-esteem, confidence and courage. This is so especially for first time riders as riding can be challenging at first but being able to overcome it builds courage, self-esteem and confidence in that they want to face more new challenges that may be ahead of them.

The risks however that a rider might face while riding a horse are; it can race faster than expected making it hard to control and might end up throwing the rider down causing some serious injuries on him or her. Other than throwing the rider down he/she might get dizzy after the fast race. The horse can also get scared of something it meets on its way as it was racing and throw the person on his back down.

The rider can be injured seriously both physically and mentally like in a case where he/she has to be confide to a wheelchair for a long time due to the accident. It can cause the individual to be traumatized that they might not want anything to do with this animal again because it might remind them of that incident.

Such accidents are likely to occur but can be avoided but the benefits are a must and are guaranteed that is why a new rider should not focus on the risk that much, what they need to do is wear the appropriate clothes needed for this activity and be guided by a professional.
